Cocktail Chic

I was fortunate enough to attend a beautiful cocktail event last night in honor of Tory Burch, but getting ready for it was no easy feat!  I was expecting a typical cold and miserable November day but woke up to beautiful sunny skies and 70 degree weather which left me wondering what in the world I was going to wear!

Now I’m not complaining but it did make me realize that I needed to plan better when it comes to cocktail type events and with the Holidays coming up, we’re all going to need an aresenal of a few key dresses that can go between casual and formal, cold to hot temps and everything inbetween.

When you’re out shopping for your Holiday dresses make sure you’re buying something that will work for a variety of occassions so that you get the most bang for your buck.

I happen to be in LOVE with this dress from Ruche and it’s a perfect example of those dresses that can work well for a mutitude of parties/events.
