The F.A.B. Report: Shuella “Shoe Umbrellas”

by Jean on December 9, 2009

SHUELLA2

I think I speak for all of us when I say that the onset of unexpected rainfall is sooo annoying, but it is perhaps rendered even MORE annoying when the idea of ruining our beautiful leather boots in the midst of it enters our minds. I shudder at the mere thought. Good thing you have your Shuella rain gear packed in your bag! Wait, rain-ready footwear that I can stash in my work bag? That’s right! Shuella’s design basically boils down to this: mini raincoats…for your feet. Seriously. Shuella is “footwear” that comes in a small bag, thus making it highly stashable–pretty much anywhere! Because let’s be honest: galoshes? Not the most fashionable shoe pick on the planet. Shuella allows you to walk worry-free: your footsies are dry, your shoes damage-free, and you don’t look like a doofus. YES! SHUELLA1

Shuella’s claim is that not only are these magnificent “shoe umbrellas” easy to walk in, they are slip-free and can be worn over any size heel. Might I add, they come in a variety of colors (I’m sold on the black, but the pink could also be really fun!), sizes (5 through 11.5!), are conveniently available for purchase at their online store, and will cost you really no more than around 50 bucks? Wow.

Looks like the rain won’t be ruining your fabulous footwear again; now give yourself a nice pat on the back for this F.A.B. find.
