So while black may be practical, there’s nothing more boring or drab than a black winter coat. This winter go for bold, bright color when it comes to your outwear and if you haven’t had to buy a winter coat yet (lucky you, it’s freeeeeezing here) then you’re totally in luck…most of the big department stores are currently offering up to 70% off most of their outwear.
The ones above are from Nordstrom and they’re all on sale for less than $100! Not bad for a high quality wool coat that will keep you warm and in style all season long.

I love the trench coat style of the green one and bold colors are perfect for outerwear – you need something to help get out of the winter gloom!
