I looove this look on Jessica Biel. Come to think of it, I’d also love it on you… me… pretty much anyone. Why, you ask? Because it’s chicly current.. but also because it’s pretty comfortable (gasp!) and… pretty accessible for almost anyone to buy and wear (double gasp!).
It’s no secret that printed dresses are everywhere, and there will only be an even bigger influx of them with the dawn of spring. And those trillions of black boyfriend blazers you’ve been double-guessing yourself about buying? Well, you finally have an excuse to snag one on sale (I also found a few for you below).
What’s truly great about this look is that it’s very trendy yet it somehow can consist of… juuuust about any printed dress (add in an asymmetrical element if you’re feeling extra daring), just about any black blazer (you can score ones at under $15.00 if you’re willing to dig at Goodwill), and just about any black t-strap heels or sandals.
So basically, a cute, comfortable outfit that will flatter many-a body type and attainable for under $100.00. What are you waiting for?

I keep seeing that pic of Jessica Biel pop up in my style magazines and fashion websites and I just adore it. Thanks for putting this in your look for less!
Btw, I’ve never ordered from asos – are they pretty true to size and pretty good material?
Is there a dress out there similar but a little less than $74, thats still a bit out of my price range?
This is the best! And to Beauty Budget… there is a great selection of floral dresses at Forever, and also Franchesca’s has also always done florals really well.
I’ve been wanting a boyfriend blazer for the longest time. Now I really have to get one. It’ll be out of my comfort zone but I think I’ll try it out.
Looks gorgeous on her, but I’m thinking this might be a little boxy a jacket for me. Do you think this would work with a more fitted jacket without looking like a garden party outfit?
totally!! just make sure the length of the jacket isn’t super cropped. it should hit you at the bottom of your rib cage to get the right proportion OR you could also put a light weight black cardigan over the dress for the same effect…it’s more fitted so it won’t look or feel as boxy! but like the jacket, keep the cardi short…like this one:
