As the temperature finally start to heat up, one thing that’s definitely missing from my closet is a pair of Spring Jeans! These are those light weight, super soft, almost white jeans that are an instant update to your inky Skinnies from the Fall/Winter.
For the warmer weather, dark skinny jeans are still acceptable but these “acid washed” jeans are a fresh and fun update to your Spring wardrobe! And while I’ve expressed my dislike for boot- cut styles in the past, with these lighter colors I’m being a little more open minded and I kind of like the flare leg on them like in the picture above!
But if you’re still unsure if this demin trend is for you, here are some styles you can try out with a minimal investment:

Ohhh I’ve always been scared that light jeans like these make me look big. But maybe I’ll still try them. They look so SPRINGY!
I like the washed out denim, but what I really want for spring is white skinny jeans! I haven’t been able to find a good pair in my budget thus far though.

Unfortunately, at this weight, I’m not going to try this trend. Aimee-White skinny jeans would be awesome:).
I have a pear shaped body, and always thought that light colored jeans like acid wash would look horrid on me! I will try them again this spring… dun dun DUN! lol
I’m always one for a darker wash. They seem more sophisticated to me but I know I’m wrong because these do look fantastic.
My mother always said “if you wore the trend the first time around you should probably skip it when it comes back around”
I think I’ll take her advice this one time
If you’re like me, you probably don’t like too light jeans and also don’t prefer skinny jeans for fear it makes you look short and stout, i’d suggest the ’straight leg, light-wash busted jeans’ from Banana Republic’s petite section. I just bought a pair of these and am loving it! Since i’m petite, it’s hard to find jeans that are the right length, i.e., not too short, not too long. These are just the right length, can be worn rolled up and with flats, or left long and worn with chunky heels. Also, the fit is great, hugs you in all the right places and is super straight so it makes you look longer and leaner. I’d definitely recommend this pair over skinnies or boot-cut styles.
